Celebrity Cruises has long been recognised for its modern luxury ocean voyages, offering sophisticated itineraries around the world. Now, in an exciting new development, the company is expanding into the world of river cruising. Starting in 2027, Celebrity will introduce its own line of  Celebrity river cruises, bringing its signature style and elegance to Europe’s most scenic rivers. This bold move signals a new era for the cruise line, as they look to offer a distinctive river cruising experience with the same level of luxury and service that their ocean ships are known for.

Celebrity’s new river cruise line will feature a fleet of 10 innovative ships designed specifically for river cruising. These vessels will offer the same luxurious design and sophisticated amenities that have made Celebrity Cruises a leader in the industry. Smaller and more intimate than ocean liners, these river ships will be able to dock in the heart of the cities and towns along Europe’s iconic rivers, allowing passengers easy access to the local culture and history.

While the ships’ exact designs haven’t been revealed yet, they are expected to feature spacious staterooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing passengers to take in breathtaking views of the river and its surroundings from the comfort of their rooms. The luxurious accommodations will be complemented by modern amenities, ensuring that every guest feels pampered and relaxed throughout their journey.

Celebrity’s new river cruises will take travellers along some of the most picturesque and famous rivers in Europe, such as the Danube, Rhine, and Seine. These waterways wind through stunning landscapes, dotted with castles, vineyards, and charming villages, making them perfect for travellers looking to immerse themselves in European culture and history.

The Danube River will offer a chance to visit countries like Austria, Hungary, and Germany, with stops in cities like Vienna, Budapest, and Passau. The Rhine River will take travellers through Germany, France, and the Netherlands, with visits to cities like Cologne, Amsterdam, and Strasbourg. The Seine River, famous for flowing through Paris, will allow guests to experience the romance and allure of France, with stops in destinations like Rouen, Honfleur, and the French countryside.
