This unmissable journey has been planned by our team to piece together destinations and voyages of discovery linked to famous explorers. You can take in remarkable geological wonders and scenic landscapes as Bolette sails in the wake of the first recorded circumnavigation of the globe – the 16th-century Magellan-Elcano expedition – and enjoys an exploration of the south coast of Australia, inspired by the historic route taken by British navigator Matthew Flinders.

Throughout this world cruise, culture Enthusiasts can gain insight into the history of the products traded at various destinations and nature Enthusiasts can encounter a variety of different remarkable geological wonders and scenic landscapes - such as waterfalls, fjords and volcanic islands.
The first part of the journey offers our Enthusiast guests the chance to visit places that are the origins of traditional cultural art forms associated with the destinations - particularly music and dance. The mid-section of the journey visits a mix of remote and isolated islands and highlight cities offers culture enthusiasts an intriguing insight into the local societies and civilisations that have lived there throughout history, and nature Enthusiasts the opportunity to encounter a variety of wildlife species. The final part of the journey also offers the opportunity to visit some remoter off-the-beaten-track destinations and delve into that history of trading.
Each port of call and area of scenic cruising has been hand-selected based on those which have previously received the very best feedback from Fred. Olsen guests.
This cruise follows a reposition from Liverpool, which offers guests the opportunity to join this world cruise from either a northern port or a southern departure port.

These Terms and Conditions are in addition to Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ (FOCL) standard Terms and Conditions, which are available here, and on request. Both must be read before booking. Fares are per person, based on standard occupancy of the lead-in cabin of named category, subject to availability. ‘PP’ is per person. Information shown is correct at time of going to print (February 2023), but fares are capacity controlled and may change at any time. Call for latest prices. *On board spend: Free spend amount varies per cabin category, from £250 per person based on an interior cabin, up to £600 per person based on booking a Suite, valid for new bookings made from 01/03/23, on cruises T2502 and T250106. On Board Spend is non-transferrable. No refunds will be given for the credit amount shown. No cash alternative will be given for unused spend. Complimentary or chargeable cabin upgrades, where applicable, will not alter the on board spend value. On board spend is applicable for a maximum of two guests per cabin and is not combinable with any other offer, (with the exception of the Olsen Way Promise). On board spend is capacity controlled and subject to availability.
*Door to door transfer: offer is up to a maximum of 250 UK mainland miles, and is free for new bookings only made from 01/03/23 on cruises T2502 and T250106. Any additional mileage over 250 UK mainland miles, must be paid to the transport provider (CMAC) at the time of booking. Guests may be required to share the transport for all or part of the journey, when an appropriate vehicle will be provided. Once the complimentary transport has been confirmed by the provider, charges will apply if fail to take this arrangement without cancelling with the transport provider. The door-to-door service is one transfer (each way) per booking for all guests, from the lead guest address, and must be pre-booked with the transport provider (CMAC). Outbound and inbound mileage cannot be combined should you only require transfer one-way. No deviations enroute are permitted.
