This means you get to explore everything from nightlife in Stockholm and morning walks in the French Riviera to all-day adventures in Costa Rica’s rain forests. Because life isn’t on a 9 to 5 schedule, and neither are Azamara voyages.
You’ll also experience incredibly scenic waterways and prime docking locations—two great advantages of our boutique-style award-winning ships. Here you’ll find people who are genuinely friendly and happy to make you feel welcomed, and with a maximum of 702 guests, staff and crew can quickly learn your name, tastes, and preferences, too. Plus, you’ll enjoy lots of inclusive amenities that will leave money in your wallet and put a smile on your face. We’re the voyage for those who love travel.

Small groups of guests mix and mingle with welcoming locals and share experiences that inspire understanding and appreciation of their destinations.
Be one of the few to enjoy these exclusive demonstrations and activities that teach about the lives of their hosts and the depth of their culture. In this intimate settings, traditions come to life, ideas flourish, and friendships bloom.
Nights & Cool Places
They've improved on the traditional night cap. Azamara’s Nights and Cool Places program features a thoughtfully curated selection of after-dinner tours designed to complement your daytime explorations. The featured activities highlight the architecture, arts, and scenery that are best experienced after night falls, like a guided walk around illuminated landmarks, an after-hours museum visit, and live performances.

With AzAmazing Evenings, they take that concept a step further. Imagine a romantic evening on a hillside in Tuscany, with a live performance by three tenors, or getting the red carpet treatment before a ballet at the Mikhailovsky Theater in St. Petersburg, or spending an evening onboard under a blanket of stars while savouring local delicacies. There may be a moment during your AzAmazing Evenings event when you forget you’re actually on a voyage. Have fun and savor the moment—that’s what AzAmazing Evenings are all about.
Seuss at Sea
Carnival’s exclusive partnership with Dr. Seuss Enterprises brings the beloved children’s brand and favourite characters to the line’s 24-ship fleet. The Seuss at Sea program offers a variety of exciting and immersive on-board youth, family, dining and entertainment experiences featuring the amazing world and words of Dr. Seuss.
Carnival LIVE not only takes you to great destinations, but makes getting there half the fun. Cruise to the usual stunning spots, and while in one port the band will board the ship and put on an amazing show. And for the entire cruise, you’re in good company — you’re sailing with a shipful of your fellow fans.
To compare the IMAX experience to “just seeing a movie” is like calling a Carnival cruise “just a vacation.” It sounds about right… but experienced folks know better. That’s why stepping into the IMAX Theatre you’ll find on a Carnival cruise is more like taking a brief escape from life. On the other side of the amazing screen you’ll find a world of first-run Hollywood blockbusters, recent hit films and IMAX shorts, all in a huge format that makes normal cinemas look like your smartphone screen. And the very first IMAX Theatre at sea? Nowhere else but Carnival Vista.
SkyRide is a bit like riding a bike — you’ll never forget it. But SkyRide is also completely unlike riding a bike, because when was the last time you biked around a ship, high above the deck and even higher above the sparkling blue sea? Zip safely around a two-lane suspended course in a pedal-powered go-mobile, in search of your biggest racing victory, lowest lap time… or simply the greatest view.
The Lawn Club
A freshly manicured lawn on the highest deck. Enjoy casual outdoor activities in a decidedly Country Club atmosphere, and let the grass between your toes take you places no cruise has gone before.

The next generation of river cruising
Emerald Cruises have focused on creating an exceptional European river cruising experience that's also incredible value for money.
Unlike any other on Europe's rivers, their ships boast a heated swimming pool with retractable roof, which ingeniously transforms into an on-board cinema. They've also created a completely new type of cabin - the Emerald Panorama Balcony Suite. To replace the run-of-the-mill French Balcony, these suites incorporate an ingenuous open-air system and an indoor balcony, complete with decking area and chairs.
Their itineraries are great too: they've carefully crafted a collection of cruise itineraries which range from 8 to 15 days, and take you to many of the most fantastic villages, towns and cities lining Europe's rivers.
Bringing the highlights of ocean cruising to the world of river cruising
Emerald Cruises don’t want to meet your expectations; they aim to create spectacular surprises that you wouldn’t ever expect from a boutique river cruise ship. That’s why their new deluxe ships boast a heated swimming pool complete with retractable roof and bar – creating a brilliant on-board oasis for you to relax in, whatever the weather. On selected evenings, the pool area inventively transforms into a cinema showing a collection of classic films and recent releases – taking on-board entertainment in a completely new direction.
On selected cruises, special interest themed excursions are on offer, where a range of activities and entertainment will be provided, regarding a particular point of interest or subject. A guest speaker will talk about their subject and ‘Shore Tours’ will take place.
A ‘Shore Tour’ is a tour of a particular destination that will help bring to life and give a better understanding of the particular theme/subject that is being taught. One example is a tour of the wine regions of Bordeaux and Rioja while wine expert Jilly Goolden delivers talks on-board and there is the opportunity to take part in wine-tasting activities and entertainment.
The majority of theme programs are free of charge, however relevant materials and ‘Shore Tours’ may have an additional cost.
