Following in the nautical tradition of three-masted sailing ship, Le Ponant will take you on a voyage of discovery. The ship capacity limited to 64 passengers provides intimacy and convivial atmosphere to the cruise. The refined life onboard, the welcoming charm of your cabin, the lounges and the restaurants setting are as many invitations to relax.
The sailing vessel LE PONANT is not accessible for those with limited mobility or using a wheelchair.
Children under 3 years of age and women who are over 6 months pregnant are not authorised to sail. Children between 3 and 8 years old are accepted subject to agreement at the time of booking. If accepted, a liability waiver will have to be completed and returned to PONANT to validate your booking. On expedition cruises, children must be able to disembark/embark by zodiac without assistance and be able to understand and follow safety instructions. Therefore disembarkation is submitted to Captain’s and Expedition Leader’s decision depending on weather conditions and landing sites. In all cases, children and young adults, once on board, are the entire and total responsibility of their parents or guardians.
Children from 8 to 11 years old sharing with 2 adults and Teenagers from 12 to 17 years old, sharing with 1 or 2 adults benefit from special discounts on cruise-only fares.
All PONANT vessels are non-smoking with the exception of designated areas on outside decks. The indoor areas (lounges, dining-room, staterooms, reception, etc.) are all non-smoking areas.
Drinks are included in the price of the cruise. From the moment you board and throughout your cruise, enjoy unlimited drinks at any time of the day.
The Open Bar includes a large selection of beverages (mineral waters, cold drinks, wines, beer, champagne, spirits, coffee, tea). Does not include à la carte premium alcoholic drinks.
During the day, casual attire is recommended. For the excursions, bring practical clothes and comfortable shoes. Evening attire is at your discretion.

Located on the Antigua Deck, these staterooms feature portholes, a king-size bed, minibar, flat screen TV and desk with stationary. The bathroom includes a shower with French bath amenities and bath robes.
Each room also benefits from individually-controlled air conditioning, a safe, dressing table with hairdryer, satellite direct line telephone and WiFi access.
Located on the Marie-Galante Deck, these staterooms feature portholes, a king-size bed or 2-3 twin beds, minibar, flat screen TV and desk with stationary. The bathroom includes a shower with French bath amenities and bath robes. Each room also benefits from individually-controlled air conditioning, a safe, dressing table with hairdryer, satellite direct line telephone and WiFi access.
Le Ponant has plenty of space including comfortable lounges. The public rooms are flexible and able to receive all the passengers at once for conferences, presentations, or work sessions. Enjoy meeting people in the Emeraude Lounge, relaxing in the Saphir Lounge, having a walk on the Sun Deck.
Located on the Saint-Barth Deck, the Emeraude Lounge is the main lounge onboard Le Ponant and features a piano bar.
Located on the the Saint-Berth Deck, the Saphir Lounge serves as the onboard Lecture Hall. It features computers with internet access and a TV with DVD player.
