The Company does not provide personal devices (such as wheelchairs, hearing aids or prescription eye glasses) or services of a personal nature (such as pushing a wheelchair or assistance in eating, toileting or dressing). A companion capable of providing such assistance must accompany any passenger who requires services of a personal nature.

The Company does not employ medical personnel. Any necessary medical attention will be provided by a local facility at the passenger’s expense. The Company is not responsible or liable for any losses or costs incurred as a result of medical services obtained while on tour, or for the quality of the care or services received. Passengers should be aware some tours include rough terrain, extensive walking over cobblestone streets, uneven pavement, steps and locations which may not be easily accessible or accessible by wheelchair. During the tour, the Company may make arrangements with carriers, hotels and other independent suppliers to provide travel services. These parties are independent entities over which the Company has no control. Accommodations on international tours may differ from those in the united kingdom. The Company cannot guarantee disability access or accommodations for passengers travelling on international tours. The Company may, in its sole discretion, decline the booking of any passenger or remove any passenger who cannot comply or refuses to comply with the Company’s terms and conditions. The Company is not responsible for any costs incurred in the event a passenger is removed from a tour. Passengers agree not to hold the Company or any of its related entities liable for any actions taken under these terms and conditions.

Dress Code

We recommend country club casual for dinner. Guests typically wear dressier attire for the Captain’s Dinner.

Mandarin, Jade, Celestial and Imperial Suites.

These four suites are the largest on the ship. Dressed in traditional Chinese decor, these sumptuous, spacious suites have separate bedroom and living areas and as well as uninterupted views of screensaver-worthy landscapes as the ship sails its course.

Additional perks to this luxury accommodation include room service, in-suite private dining, sparkling wine, a fruit bowl replenished daily, and afternoon tea imaginatively presented in a birdcage.


These 20 suites have an indoor seating area and a private balcony with table and chairs. They're spacious enough to accommodate a third person, and they include a free laundry service as well as access to the suite lounge for unlimited drinks and snacks.

Deluxe Cabins

These 38 ensuite cabins are the largest entry level of their kind on the Yangtze River. Stylish, and wish their own private balconies, each is fully equipped with satellite TV, electronic safe, minibar and fridge.


Facilities include a stylish main lounge and bar, an observation deck, a two-floor theatre, a library, a hair and beauty salon, gift shops and a gym. Perhaps indulge in the ultimate spa experience at the onboard spa, featuring six treatment rooms and various spa services. For your peace of mind, a doctor is on board throughout.

Explorer Bar & Deck

Admire the Three Gorges in high definition through huge picture windows or out in the open air as your sail past the gentle tree-lined slopes. Take a traditional tai chi class with the on-board doctor before breakfast, enjoy that backdrop of enchanting riverscapes and ancient wonders in the early morning light. 

Cocktail hour more your scene? The Explorer Bar is also a sociable spot in which to enjoy an expertly mixed Cosmo or Dry Martini.
