We trade under the names of Ocean World Travel & River World Travel. Our head office address is 132 Winchester Road, Chandlers Ford, Hampshire, SO53 2DS.

This privacy policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you.

What information do we obtain from you?

Depending on whether you are enquiring or making booking with us, the information we process will include personal data which will be stored in an electronic format.

The information we process is provided directly from you may include the following:

• Name
• Address
• Email address
• Phone number
• Dates of birth

In some instances when making a booking, we will also need:

• Passport details
• Travel insurance details
• Next of kin details
• Dietary requirements
• Medical needs (if relevant)

We must pass on certain information required by the supplier/s who are fulfilling your travel services. We will only pass on relevant information which is required and will ensure that these suppliers are also adhering to the same data protection levels as us.

Marketing

We will only contact you with offers, promotions or special events under the following circumstances;

• You have provided us with consent to do so, either verbally or face to face.
• You have an on-going enquiry
• You have booked/enquired with us in the past and we want to share similar offers that you may have an interest in.

Please be assured that you will always have the option to ask us to stop marketing to you. If you no longer wish to receive any mailings, emails or details of future special events. Please email data@oceanworldtravel.com and we will remove you completely from our marketing database.

Should you only wish to stop receiving emails from us, please use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the last email you received from us.

We will only process your data for as long as it is deemed necessary, after which time it will be deleted securely from our system.

Subject Access Requests & Deletion of Data

In accordance with the Data Protection Act you are entitled to be removed completely (forgotten), amend, make changes to, or request to see a copy of the data we hold on you.

You can also ask us to rectify any errors in your personal data, complete any incomplete data that we hold, or transfer it to you or another person.

If you are dissatisfied with the way we process you personal data you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

By booking with Ocean World Travel we will share your personal data with trustpilot to gain reviews and help improve customer service. This is relying on legitimate interest.
