Shipboard attire ranges from casual to informal. Casual wear is appropriate for daytime aboard ship or ashore, and consists of standard sports outfits as worn at five-star resorts. Shoes should be non-skid, flat or low heeled for deck activities. Evening attire is casual with the exception of the Captain's Welcome Aboard and Farewell Dinners, which are informal. On casual evenings, open-neck shirts, slacks and sports outfits are appropriate. Jeans and shorts are not permitted in The Restaurant. On informal evenings, women usually wear dresses or trouser suits, and men wear jackets (tie optional). Remember to pack swimwear.
Clothing Ashore- The right gear is essential for enjoying the full experience of your Silversea Expedition without the limitations of weather and other conditions. Clothing that can be layered to accommodate different temperatures is most versatile and comfortable. When visiting certain sacred sites or attending certain ceremonies, guests should show respect for the local culture by not wearing shorts or skirts above the knee. Women should not show bare shoulders. Visit Silversea's Expedition Gear Shop for a detailed packing list. For guests sailing aboard select Arctic, Antarctic and Chilean Fjords voyages, please be sure to select the size for your complimentary parka.
If you have special dietary requirements, Silversea will make every attempt to accommodate your requests. Please advise Silversea of your needs on the Guest Information Form at least 75 days prior to sailing.

PROTECTING THE GALAPAGOS, TODAY AND TOMORROW
We also know that our guests are more aware of the impact their travel has on the planet. In order for Silver Origin to have the lowest possible carbon footprint, we designed her to include state-of-the-art technology, a dynamic positioning system that protects the delicate seabed and an advanced propulsion system. We also made sure all suites feature a fresh water purification system that will significantly reduce plastic bottle usage. Finally, we created the Silversea Fund for the Galápagos; a fund dedicated to safeguarding the archipelago for generations to come.
The Owner's Suite will be the largest suite in the Galapagos Islands and will offer a spectacular 180 degree view of the destination.
