It’s one of the ship’s most distinctive features: every cabin has a balcony, giving you your own outside space. So whether you’re in the heart of a stunning Norwegian fjord or sailing around the sunny Mediterranean, you have your own place to relax, enjoy the views and fresh air, and watch the sun set as you head to another incredible destination.
Saga ships have a limited number of cabins adapted for those who suffer from mobility issues. Please contact them before booking to make sure we have these facilities available.
Saga Holidays are for anyone 50 and over. A travelling companion or family member travelling with you may be aged 40 or over.
The dress code onboard is smart but casual during the day. Swimwear is restricted to the open decks only.
There are three evening dress codes:
On formal evenings ladies tend to wear long dresses, cocktail dresses or evening trousers. Men wear a dinner jacket or tuxedo. A dark lounge suit may be worn.
On informal evenings , ladies usually wear a less formal dress or trousers, and men choose from a lounge suit, sports jacket or blazer with tie.
On casual evenings, ladies wear an informal dress or trousers, and men an open-neck shirt and smart casual trousers.

Smoking and vaping is only permitted in the designated smoking area. On Spirit of Discovery and Spirit of Adventure this is the port side aft on Deck 11.
Smoking is strictly forbidden on guest balconies or anywhere else on the ships.
Spirit of Adventure’s stunning cabins have been designed by top design firm AD Associates.
Standard cabins are a generously-sized 215 square feet, with a classic boutique feel. Best of all, all have their own private balcony, for your own outside space at sea.Room includes:
Offering even more boutique luxury, Spirit of Adventure’s Deluxe cabins are larger and with more features such as a walk-in wardrobe. Their guest balconies are also larger, for more private outside space.
Upgrade to a Mid-Ship Suite for the luxury of more personal space, up to 462 square feet. You’ll also enjoy a living and dining area, walk-in wardrobe and a bath. And of course a package of added benefits, such as a butler service, pre-dinner canapes, afternoon tea service in your Suite, a coffee machine and more.
The Forward Suites on Spirit of Adventure are the highest-grade accommodation the ship has to offer. With a floorplan up to 855 square feet, they are effortlessly spacious and opulent, also with the largest balconies on the ship. Forward Suites also offer an indulgent package of added benefits, including a walk-in wardrobe, enhanced bathrooms with whirlpool bath bespoke toiletries, customised stationery and more.
They are one-off, signature spaces offering style and luxury, among the finest cabins at sea.
Solo cruisers are also spoilt for choice, with a range of over 100 single cabins on Spirit of Adventure, including these gloriously appointed Superior grade rooms.
As the evening dawns and our ships sparkle in the night, they each take on their own special atmosphere.
Singers, bands, celebrity guests and the ship’s own resident production company all take to the stage for dazzling evening entertainment that's as individual as you are.
All our ships have a main show lounge, the venue for a range of entertainment every evening.
From live bands and classical recitals, to guest speakers and cabaret shows, it's the place to take your seat in the evenings and enjoy an ever-changing programme of colourful entertainment.
Spirit of Adventure has her very own theatre at sea. The Playhouse offers plush seating for 444 guests, and showcases colourful performances every evening, along with cinema screenings, live music and even matinee shows on sea days. Raked seating ensures everyone has the perfect view, every time.
It is a tradition on our ships to have a well-stocked library, and Spirit of Adventure is no exception. Choose a book from our collection and relax in The Library, located at the top of the atrium. This quiet space is also the perfect spot to make use of the ship's free Wi-Fi.
The Library has a coffee-shop feel and the self-service area is replenished throughout the day with tempting snacks, freshly-ground coffees and teas.
Nearby, socialise and discover new skills in the Craft and Card Rooms.
Spirit of Adventure's fine dining restaurant and music venue, The Supper Club combines international cuisine with live entertainment.
Open for pre-dinner drinks, expect relaxing dining throughout the evening. With its own grand piano and stage, it's perfect for our line-up of guest musicians on every cruise.
Taking to the oceans a year after her sister Spirit of Discovery, our newest ship is our second wave of boutique luxury. The grand atrium will lead you into her array of world-class features, from the Living Room ‘hub’ to the Playhouse theatre, Spa, outdoor Lido, cutting-edge gym and stylish Library.
Located at the centre of the ship is the sociable Living Room. This decadent, yet inviting venue is a great place to grab a coffee or relax with a pre or post dinner cocktail. Plus, enjoy a variety of snacks served throughout the day, including homemade cakes and fresh pastries.
As day turns to night, the Living Room transforms into a sociable bar where you can enjoy occasional light entertainment.
The Britannia Lounge offers the most impressive views throughout the ship with panoramic windows overlooking the front of Spirit of Adventure.
During the day the Britannia Lounge is the venue for specialist talks from guest speakers along with demonstrations and classes. Or if you prefer, you can simply order a drink and relax while admiring the spectacular views.
In the evening it comes alive with music for dancing and live performances.
Choose from an extensive list of fine wines, craft beers and spirits in the effortlessly stylish surroundings of Spirit of Adventure's main bar.
The North Cape Bar spans the width of the ship and with windows that look out onto the wraparound promenade, you can look forward to amazing views, both inside and out.
It's the perfect place to meet up with friends after a busy day exploring — grab a drink and relax!
This elegant ‘secret’ garden area is the perfect setting to enjoy the fresh air any time of the day. Expect it to be especially inviting as you sail away, when you can watch the sun set into the ocean while sipping a cocktail.
Located on the Promenade Deck, this 'secret' garden area is a great place to enjoy the fresh sea air. Relax on the soft loungers with a cocktail and watch the waves roll by or, if you feel a little more active, enjoy a stroll with easy access to the wraparound promenade that encircles the ship.

When onboard, you can take advantage of tax-free purchases on selected cruises on items including clothes, fine jewellery and watches. Plus, you can also enjoy the services of a private jeweller offering unique, often hand-crafted, pieces.

And don't worry if you've forgotten one of your essentials. There'll also be a wide range of everyday products available, such as toiletries, drinks and snacks in our smaller port shop by the entrance.
Like her sister, Spirit of Adventure also houses a eclectic collection of artwork. With commissioned pieces from oil-paintings to hand-cast bronze sculptures, digital illustrations and multimedia pieces, art is showcased throughout the public areas onboard.
