City Cruise Terminal - Berth 101

Designed to accommodate the larger ships visiting the UK, Southampton's City Cruise Terminal is one of its' busiest.

Getting Here

By car, head towards the Western Docks. Follow the A33, West Quay Road. Look for signage for Dock Gate 10; City terminal is just through there.By train, the closest station is Southampton Central. Regular local and national services run here, with links to Southampton Airport Parkway (a 5 minute walk from the airport) running frequently. It’s just under 1 mile to walk from the station to the terminal, however it takes around 15-25 minutes. We suggest catching a taxi. There are dedicated ranks either side of the station, with journeys costing around about £5 - £7. Luggage shouldn’t cost any extra.Private hire taxis can be booked by calling WestQuay Cars on 023 8099 9999

Arrivals

For those arriving in Southampton, there is an arrivals lounge with comfortable seating. Open to the public, this offers the opportunity for friends and family coming to meet you to wait inside in relative comfort.

Facilities in the arrivals include standard and disabled access toilets, vending machines offering a limited range of drinks and snacks, as well as a magazine stand offering a range of complimentary magazines. Copies of Map & Guide to Southampton can also be found here – great for seeing what’s in walking distance as well as what’s on offer in the city.

Taxi ranks and coach bays can be found just outside the terminal as you exit. Pre-booking with a local firm can save waiting in long queues; we suggest using WestQuay Cars, as they have a large number of drivers with a variety of vehicle types depending on your needs. Enterprise Rent A Car operates a kiosk most days from the arrival lounge if you are looking to book a car last-minute.
