Notable changes in 2020
Return to Istanbul - Nieuw Amsterdam will offer three sailings with overnight stays in Istanbul and scenic cruising of the Dardanelles. Zuiderdam and Veendam will also offer two voyages each with overnight stays in Istanbul. These sailings will mark the first time since June 2016 that Holland American Line has visited Istanbul.
Norwegian Fjords - Due to popular demand, Holland America Line will offer 24 separate departures to Norway on a variety of 7, 10 and 14 day voyages. In addition to Norway, they will also be expanding their Iceland and Baltic sailings, with 4 ships in Northern Europe.
More Venice - Due to incredible demand, the cruise line will be increasing their overnight calls to Venice to 14 in 2020 compared to just 3 in 2019.
New Itineraries - Rotterdam will sail a new 10 day Majestic Fjords voyage in April. In addition to calls in Bergen, Alesund and Oslo. Rotterdam will also sail a new 14-day Irish & Scottish Adventure voyage in September. With amazing ports of call such as Dublin, Belfast, Invergordon and Edinburgh, this new itinerary is sure to prove popular with guests looking to experience the gems of the Irish Sea and Scottish coast.
