The Globe Travel Awards

Some of the Ocean World Travel team were lucky enough to attended The Globe Travel Awards at the Grosvenor Hotel in central London.

The night is the premier event in the travel trade calendar and celebrates everything travel. These awards the most sought-after within the industry, not only because it recognises peoples hard work and dedication to the industry, but it is voted for by the readers of Travel Weekly and the Mail newspapers.

The event was true glitz and glam, being treated to a fabulous meal and drinks whilst everyone was dressed up tuxedos and ball gowns. The night was made extra special because the awards turned 40 this year!

A special appearance on the night came from David Walliams from Britain’s got Talent and Little Britain fame, who awarded the majority of the 30+ winners their prestigious gongs. A selection of the winners included -
